CrewCosting Privacy Policy

CrewCosting publishes Google Sheets templates for quoting, scheduling, invoicing and job costing. This policy covers this website. It does not cover Gumroad, where any purchase happens under Gumroad's own policy, and it does not cover Google Sheets, where your copy of a template lives.
What we collect
Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type. This site has no account system, no login, no contact form, no newsletter box and no comments. We do not ask you for your name, your email address or anything else, and there is no database here with visitors in it.
Two things are recorded, both in aggregate and neither using cookies:
- Standard request logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host it logs the technical details of each request, including IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the referring page, to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
- Page visits, via Cloudflare Web Analytics. It records that a page was loaded, with the page address, the referring site and coarse device and country information. It sets no cookies and does not build a profile that follows you to other sites.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own, and the analytics we use sets none either. There is no advertising, no tracking pixel and no behavioural profiling here. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and nothing on this site will stop working.
Buying a template
Purchases happen on Gumroad, not here. Some links pass through /go/ on this site first so we can count that a link was used; that redirect carries nothing about you. Once you reach Gumroad you are on their site under their policy, and your email address and payment details are handled by them. We never see your card details.
Your copy of a template
When you open or copy one of our sheets it becomes a file in your own Google account. We have no access to it. We cannot see what you type into it, we receive no notification when you use it, and the templates contain no tracking of any kind. What you put in your sheet is between you and Google.
How we use what we have
Only to keep the site working and to see which pages are read. We do not sell personal information, and we have no personal information from this site to sell.
Your choices and your rights
Because we hold no account and no contact details for you, there is usually nothing of yours for us to show or delete. If you would like to know what a visit recorded, or want something removed, write to the address below and a person will answer.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We will update this page if the site changes. The date at the top always reflects the most recent update.
